Social
Ultimate is a very social sport.  It is one of the reasons we enjoy it so much.

We love the fact that members bring their children and pets to the games.  We love that teams get together for drinks and laughs after games (a reminder here that alcohol consumption is not allowed on MissUC fields).

Also, we hope that teams will get together after games at fun locations in Mississauga and to get to know your fellow opponents and reminisce about the games just played.

Volunteering

MissUC was created to give the community an ultimate club based in Mississauga, and is run by myself (Trevor) and my close friend, Gui. We have experienced a lot of growth since MissUC's inception, and a large part of the growth and success we have experienced is due to our loyal community and volunteers.

We are optimistic about growing even more in the years to come as we become a league that truly provides an ultimate experience for any and all ultimate enthusiasts, regardless of age or ability.

If you're interested in volunteering, please reach out to us to let us know if and how you might be interested in volunteering. We really do want any volunteers to be rewarded for their efforts, and in more ways than simply the satisfaction of volunteering. Some of our opportunities are a great opportunity for high school students to earn volunteer hours.  In some cases, MissUC will offer MissUC bucks – which is credit on your MissUC account that can be used towards future MissUC programs.

Eagle Spirits of the Great Waters

We would like to acknowledge the land on which we gather, and which the region of Peel operates, is part of the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of The Credit.

For thousands of years, indigenous people inhabited and cared for this land.  In particular, we acknowledge the territory of the Anishinabek, Huron-Wendat, Haudenonsaunee and Ojibway-Chippewa peoples.  The land is home to the Metis, and most recently, the Territory of the Mississaugas of The Credit First Nation who are direct descendants of The Mississaugas of The Credit.

We are grateful to have the opportunity to work and play on this land, and by doing so, give our respect to its first inhabitants.

Crooked Cue, Mississauga

A dear friend of mine and his sister are the owners of the Crooked Cue on Lakeshore. The Crooked Cue has a plethora of quality craft beers, outstanding food, friendly service and the best pool tables in the area.
