2024 Summer Tuesday POD I Individual Registration

Register as an individual to play in the Tuesday POD I league, playing Tuesdays, May 21st to July 2nd here. 

This 7-week league will start at 6:45 and go until dusk, or a team scores 17 points, whichever comes first.

This league is a popular MissUC initiative.   The POD concept works as follows:  Each week, two PODs (ie POD B & POD C) will be combined together to make a team that will play another team that is made up of two PODs (ie POD A & POD G).  The next week the PODs will be arranged differently (ie. POD B/POD E vs POD C/POD D).

This league welcomes players of all levels, but there is an expectation that players can successfully throw and catch a disk and have a basic understanding of the game. 

For this league to work, each POD will need a designated "Captain" - someone that A: coordinates with their fellow POD Captains at game time and B: ensures there is a sub to play if there is a missing player from the POD.  MissUC will demonstrate its appreciation to each POD's Captain by issuing a $25 MissUC Credit to that person's account.  If you would like to be a POD Captain, indicate so in the questionnaire below.

This league welcomes individual registrations.  You may request to play with UP TO THREE other players in your POD.  If they also indicate that they want to play with you, we will do our best to have you assigned to the same POD.  There is NO GUARANTEE.  If you wish to play with more than one other person, you may also likely be asked to be a Captain of your POD.

The cost to register is $70 (including tax).   The registration deadline is May 13th. 

There are restrictions to the number of PODs that can exist for this league (we need multiples of 4). If there are 16 registrations, we can have 4 PODs of 4.  If there are 20 registrations, we can have 4 PODs of 5.  If there are 25 registrations, we can have 3 PODs of 6 and 1 POD of 7.  If there are 48 registrations, we can have 8 PODs of 6.

Please note, we welcome players older than 14 years of age in this league. Players under 18 years of age should be accompanied by an adult to the game.  Anyone that is under 14 years of age is encouraged to speak with the GM of the league before registering.

Fields available for this league include AEC, John Fraser and Lakeview Sports Field.
