Youth Competitive Tryout Registration
This is the registration for high school students wanting to TRY OUT for the Mississauga Youth Competitive teams. Unlike high school ultimate leagues, there is no co-ed division in the regional summer tournaments for juniors. We plan on offering at least one girls team and one boys team. If we have enough people (players and coaches) to make both a competitive and development team happen, we will endeavour to do so.
In order to complete the registration on this page, the player must first have completed a profile with the Mississauga Ultimate Club. Use this link to access the Create a Profile page. Also, there are some waivers that must be signed in order to complete the registration.
A membership with MissUC is NOT required to complete this registration. Nor is a fee.
The tryouts will be held on the fields at Cawthra Park SS from 3 pm to 6 pm on Sunday, April 28th and Saturday May 4th. Try to attend both dates if possible.
If the player is successful in making the team, it is reasonable to assume that practices will be held on Monday and/or Wednesday evenings somewhere in Mississauga.
Tournaments the team is targeting to attend are Callahan for Kids in Bowmanville (June 2nd), Ontario Regionals in Brampton (July 6 & 7), and (if they qualify) Nationals in Ottawa (August 11 -14).
Players in these tournaments are required to have been born between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2011.
